Ginger Shelhimer brings extensive experience in Human Resources, Integration, HR Operations, Training and Project Leadership, having led organizations and teams through hundreds of Merger & Acquisition deals, Divestments, Carve-Outs and Managed Services transactions. Throughout her twenty plus year career in Human Resources and Consulting, she has served individuals and teams in navigating change and transition successfully within companies ranging from “A to X” (Alcatel to Xerox). Her experience has involved multiple industries including IT, Telecom, Outsourcing, Financial Services, and leading deals with companies such as Sprint, Lockheed, Chubb and others. She has been instrumental in HR strategy; solution development; process development and improvement; communications; and change management across multiple continents and countries.
In her most recent position as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions, Global Talent Acquisition with Ericsson, a telecommunications company with operations in over 180 countries, she developed the HR playbook for global deals. She developed training and coached HR professionals in applying best practices and consistent approaches to deliver on global, complex deals. Acting as the Deal Leader on many strategic pursuits throughout her career, she was HR Deal Leader involved in acquiring Motorola’s global HR practice to establish a multi-country BPO operation. She developed customized communications to support the acquisition in 17 countries as well as developing a redeployment model to ensure resources were well-supported. Tapped as the lead to restructure a large State Healthcare Project, she led HR Service Delivery for a global outsourcing organization, managing Recruiting, Data Operations, Benefits/Compensation, and other HR functional areas within a multi-shore model. With strong skills in Communications and Change, she is adept at identifying and translating strategic solutions to solve organizational problems, and leveraging people and processes to implement action-oriented plans.
Ginger holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling, a Graduate Certificate in Marketing and a BBA in Business Management. She is a certified SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources), a Licensed Professional Counselor, a member of the National Speakers Association and a published author, in addition to being certified in a number of assessment tools.
