Ray Oral

Ray Oral has 30+ years of experience leading technology integration and transformation efforts. This includes the Chicago Board Options Exchange where he led the effort to establish standalone trading and network technology as a spin-off from the Chicago Board of Trade. At ABN AMRO, Ray held multiple leadership positions including Retail Divisional COO and U.S. Mortgage CIO where he led Technology and Operations efforts to divest ABN AMRO’s mortgage operations to Citibank. Ray was involved in and led the IT function for 12 acquisitions that helped ABN AMRO in North America grow from $20B to $120B. At CAN Insurance, Ray was CIO responsible for leading global IT, including U.S. Property & Casualty, Warranty, Surety, Canada and European Operations. During his 9-year tenure Ray led CNA’s digital transformation as well as several acquisitions and divestitures.

Ray’s experiences with Fortium partners include advising a start-up on automation of Insurance Property & Casualty front and back-office automation, separation and integration of a manufacturing company following a private equity acquisition (9 months) and digital transformation (18 months) of a New York based Investment Bank to implement a hybrid work model that enhances collaboration, efficiency, and effectiveness regardless of location.
