Denise Elias has over 25 years of professional leadership and consulting experience for a variety of companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 firms. Throughout her career she distinguished herself as a leader in transformation efforts involving acquisition integration management, organizational restructuring, process re-engineering, program development and financial optimization (strategy, planning, and execution, most programs targeted at revenue/cost improvements). She has led due diligence, pre- and post- acquisition integration planning and multi-country integrations totaling over $3B in value. Industry expertise includes Software, Professional Services, Translation Services and Pharmaceutical Wholesale.
Before joining M&A Partners, Denise was the VP leading the worldwide M&A Integration team at CA Technologies, simultaneously completing over one-half dozen internationally diverse acquisitions ranging from small start-ups to large well-established software concerns. During her tenure as VP, M&A Integration she enhanced the firm’s M&A capability by developing and implementing an Integration Lifecycle Framework, a cross-functional Engagement Model, an updated Playbook and introduced functional leads to a new Program Management model while managing interface with senior executives.
In addition to her M&A expertise, Denise led the identification, development, and execution of programs to improve margins at an industry-leading translation services company, one of the largest in the Americas. Programs included transforming the supply chain outsourcing process improving margins on some languages by as much as 50% and restructuring the quote-to-cash process with estimated productivity savings of up to $5M to $8M annually. Additionally, while at a Fortune 500 software firm she led the strategic transformation of a $4B product portfolio, including the introduction of new business models generating $15M in increased revenues annually.
