Kelly Karger, FCA, FSA, CMAS is an independent Human Capital M&A consultant. She specializes in managing Human Capital activities during corporate transactions.
With more than 25 years of consulting experience, Kelly’s primary areas of concentration include:
- Human Capital due diligence
- Transition planning and separation/integration
- Post-close implementation
- Complex global deals including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures, separation to standalone
- Total rewards including employee benefits, and pension risk management
- HR program management
Prior to starting her independent consulting firm, Kelly served as a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal, Willis Towers Watson and Aon Hewitt, where her clients ranged from small manufacturing to large complex organizations across the healthcare, aerospace/defense, airline, hospitality, technology, energy and retail industries.
As a Senior Advisor to M&A Leadership Council, Kelly serves as the Council's lead HR Specialist. In this capacity, she shares her expertise with other M&A professionals and organizations involved in corporate growth, consolidation, restructuring and divestitures.
Kelly graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota, Duluth with a B.S. in Mathematics and Statistics, was previously named a Risk & Insurance® Power Broker in Employee Benefits and is a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and Certified M&A Specialist.
