Using the Experiences of Serial Acquirers to Build a Repeatable Model

Last year was a standout year for mergers and acquisitions (M&As). Not only did we see some of the largest deals in history, but the M&A market showed strength and depth with records broken for both the number of deals and the total volume of activity by many measures—as well as a high-water mark for the number of the mega deals (those in excess of $10bn deal value).
As companies engage in more and bigger deals, they benefit from building a repeatable model of M&A. Learning from the experiences of serial acquirers can help companies build such models and achieve their M&A objectives.
