David Hunt is a Senior Director within Willis Towers Watson’s M&A Practice based in New York. Dave provides HR corporate transaction consulting advice and has extensive experience with all deal stages from pre-deal strategic planning, through due diligence, to do-by-close and post-acquisition integration, especially in the context of global mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. He brings extensive experience in Talent Retention, Culture and Integration Effectiveness to his consulting engagements.
Dave joined Willis Towers Watson in May 2018. Prior to joining the company, Dave spent 22 years working for General Electric Company, 21 of those spent in senior M&A roles. While at GE, Dave led the companies HR M&A Center of Excellence (CoE) responsible for all M&A transactions across the industrial enterprise. His final 2 years were spent building and leading a cross functional Integration CoE in the GE Digital business.

Education and Credentials
Dave is a frequent speaker at external conferences on M&A issues and he has been published in WorldatWork’s Workspan as well as other articles on talent retention and other human capital HR issues. He holds an MBA from Pennsylvania State University (PSU) and is a Six Sigma Greenbelt & Change Acceleration Process (CAP) Certified Coach.
